General Assembly Meetings

General Assembly Meetings:

Each month, representatives from MCN Member Organizations (MOs) organize in every MCN District for a General Assembly (GA) meeting. Each meeting is dedicated to a different purpose. General Assembly meetings are the core of the MCN; a chance for student leaders from across each District to meet face-to-face for the purpose of skill building and collective action.

Student leaders learn how to:

effectively present their organizations
manage leadership turnover
recruit new members
build a partnership with an "on–the–ground" partner
identify other ways they can improve their organization

General Assembly meetings also provide time for groups to discuss projects, share best practices, and learn from one another.
